Charges for using the Payment Groups feature
There are extra charges to use the Payment group feature. These are outlined below.
A site using its own payment processor to take payments, i.e.SagePay payment processor in the UK, then the following charges with apply:
- Around 4% commison (minimum £0.50 and maximum £3.50) of every payment assignment will be taken by us (Endis). A payment assignment is when money received is assigned to a receivable (money owed). e.g.a conference that took a deposit of £20 on approval and then took £200 at a later date would have 2 assignments and therefore pay commison as follows:
deposit 4% of £20 = 80pence balance 4% of £200 = £8 (maximum limit of £3.50 applied) total commision £4.30 i.e.£3.50 + 80 pence
- 1 Donation payment group per ChurchInsight web site can be set so no commission is taken. This is not automatic though and so you'll need to contact us to have this 0% commision setup prior to taking payments.
- Remember the Bank the user's credit/debit card will charge around 1.5%-3%, or a fixed amount in the case of debit cards like Maestro.

| | Lee Hopper (www.chcc.org.uk) | 27/07/2010 20:47 | | I have just created a Ticket for an Alpha Supper we are running September. All I want people to do is confirm their attendance with this system. However, I have tested it and it is asking for 50p, but I am not selling anything, it is just a confirmation of booking. Please help

I've changed it to use your own payment processor for digital items but this does mean if you add any further digital items for a charge then you need to sign-up with Sagepay to take payments. Contact support if you are wanting to sell digital items and we can explain more.
